This time, the sizing up is done between the leading internet search engine and the newly launched voice command software called ‘Seri' by Apple Inc.

Google expects its newly launched Google Nexus Tablet 7 device to accomplish for it what the Amazon Kindle Fire tablets. That is to eat into as much as possible the market share that the Apple iPad enjoys and gradually come to the front.

In doing so, it realized that its Google Nexus 7 tablet may still not be possessing the state-of-the-art technical inputs in terms of the software and hardware that the Apple iPad offers and totally dislodge its position at the top of the tablet ladder. The Galaxy S III will be the first Samsung device to bear the brand of the company's new SAFE program -- Samsung Approved for Enterprise. Out of the box, the SAFE-branded Galaxy S III supports a suite of enterprise-ready features and capabilities as well as 338 IT policies. SAFE may help combat Android fragmentation, at least as far as various IT security protocols are concerned.

Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy S III smartphone will be the company's first device to be officially branded and sold under its new SAFE program.

SAFE stands for "Samsung Approved for Enterprise."

The Galaxy S III will be available in the U.S. from Verizon Wireless, AT&T (NYSE: T), Sprint (NYSE: S), T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular in July.
